Vet school/degrees/training: Oklahoma State University Class of 1984 College of Veterinary Medicine.

Interest or specialty in vet med: After 20 years of in a hospital/reproduction practice, I have chosen to focus my practice for the past 10 years on horse show sports medicine and lameness.

Why you became a vet: I was an animal lover and wanted to be a veterinarian or zookeeper from my earliest age. I grew up around horse breeding farms and cattle sale barns and became focused on veterinary medicine in my early teens.

Short personal bio: I have been married to my lovely bride Terri for more than 37 years. Our oldest daughter Jessi and her husband Brock have one son Truman with another on the way. Our son Matt and his wife Lacee have one son Hudson with a granddaughter on the way. Our youngest daughter Rylie recently graduated Oklahoma State University. We are proud of all in our extended family.

When I am not enjoying being called "Bahpa" by my grandkids, I like to flyfish, hike and watch Thunder basketball....and ride bulls.
